To realize this project, I ask to embrace, support and distribute MOONICA wherever possible. It is a noble project with a warm heart for everyone. Not only for women who are confronted with illness and treatment, but also for women who are looking for a trendy, fun and fresh style. I want to be an example to show that it is possible to give your life a different turn, realize your dreams, support each other, believe in yourself and trust your strength.

ABOUT

MY STORY / THE INNER LIONESS

Five May 2017, on my mother's birthday, my world was turned upside down: breast with aggressive character at an early stage . Preventive I went through the long treatment: surgery, chemo, radiation and herceptin. 

​

By nature I am a positive person, a go-getter. Soon I realized that I had to change my life if I wanted to keep on doing my passion and being creative. Partly supported by the hospital staff and my family, I took the challenge to combine my years of experience as a designer and the experience of treatment in a concept. This gave me the courage to fight the disease and also gave me the necessary boost and comfort on the long road to healing after the intensive treatment.

This experience and the fact that I am making a full recovery, has made me discover my Inner Lioness who is determined to go for it! And it is exactly this strength that I want to use to help ‘companions’ and give them support in a positive way to fight, so they can find their Inner Lioness.

Label MOONICA is started from my personal story. The diagnosis became the trigger to realize my forgotten dream. Designing my own collection. Proud that I have moulded my cancer experience and designer experience into a concept 'Fashion with a story'. 

The collection is a fusion of funny, trendy collection with comfortable garments that can be invisibly adapted to any woman with a question.  The collection is cool, feminine, sexy and covered with a touch of smiling humour. In time I would like to become an iconic name in the fashion landscape. I aspire a fashion collection that is sustainable, timeless, comfortable and trendy. The biggest pillars of our team & collection are accessibility, respect, openness and listening. Feel Good on your own way.  Read more vision.

THE COLLECTION / MOONICA

The collection is carefully designed and made in Belgium. With some pride I can say that I managed to launch a small collection, now available online. Our ambition is that the collection will be expanded more and more to include comfortable clothing, hip hats, hot items,..... 

​

Because we want to use democratic prices, the collection is only be available online or at Events in which MOONICA participates. Passing is possible on these Events as well as by appointment in my Atelier. Any questions ? Don't hesitate, we are at your disposal via info@moonica.eu.

We are always open minded to new challenges. I get a specially request from a young guest of 19, he was looking for a nice hat. I designed a hat and cap for young men with a soft fabric inside that protects the skin. These are also wearable by everyone, including women.  Discover more details through our shop / Personalize.
